Dr. Elise Prince

Dr. Elise Prince

Veterinarian

Dr. Elise Prince was born in Knoxville, TN, but moved to Livermore, CO, at 12 years old after her parents bought a dude/guest ranch. She worked on her family’s farm through college. She went to college at the Queen’s University of Charlotte in North Carolina, where she played college basketball, earned a nursing degree, and worked as an emergency room registered nurse.

Dr. Makenzie McCord

Veterinarian

Dr. Makenzie McCord is originally from Winchester, TN. She received her bachelor’s in Animal Science in 2014 and her DVM in 2018, both from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Her professional interests include pain management and preventative medicine. Dr. McCord is also a veterinary acupuncturist. She completed her training at Chi University in Reddick, Florida in 2020. She enjoys improving all pets’ quality of life with an integrative approach!

Outside of work, Dr. McCord enjoys going out on Tim’s Ford Lake and wake surfing, reading, and spending time with her friends and family. She and her husband, Davis, live in Tullahoma with their 2 basset hounds named Hattie and Franklin and 1 mischievous cat named Georgia.

Brandie

Brandie

Brandie has been at Town and Country Veterinary Hospital for over five years and loves her job. You see her smiling face at the front desk, but she has done almost every position over the years at Town and Country Veterinary Hospital. Brandie lives in Winchester with her husband, Dave, their son Nicholas, and all their pets. They have three dogs and three cats.

Brandie loves to spend time with her family, doing homework, cooking, playing with all the animals, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time at the lake in the summer. Brandie always has a smile and is eager to help anyone she can. She is proud to be part of the Town and Country family.

Whitney

Whitney

Whitney Spence, previously McLaughlin, has been here with us since she graduated high school in 2011. She’s currently finishing her veterinary technician degree to be our very own licensed veterinary technician! She loves spending time out working with her cows or with her horses trail riding, riding in her arena at home, or barrel racing at the local and state level. She hopes to compete in the NBHA world championships in the next few years. She currently has 2 horses named Fancy and Wasabi. She also has 2 cats and 3 dogs : Gus who is a tripod cat, Peeves a stray cat she found on the side of the road, Rooster a pocket pitty, Remington a miniature Australian shepherd, and Lily a blue heeler.

Lee

Lee

Lee has been working at Town and Country Veterinary Hospital since 2002. He has one cat named Logan. Lee has always loved animals, especially reptiles. When asked about his work at Town and Country Veterinary Hospital, Lee said, “I’m blessed to have a job that lets me do what I love.” In his spare time, Lee enjoys learning about the Civil War.

Pam

Pam

Pam was born and raised in Coffee and Franklin County. She has worked at Town and Country Veterinary Hospital since 2001. Pam first worked as a veterinary assistant and then moved to the front desk, where she could do what she loves, working with animals AND their owners. She always has a smiling face and gives hugs instead of handshakes.

Savannah

Savannah

Savannah was born and raised in Winchester, Tennessee, and now lives in Belvidere, Tennessee, with her fiancé, Dalton, and daughter, Ashlynn. She has a chihuahua/jack Russell mix named Nala, a teacup chihuahua named Jax, and a Doberman named Zuko. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her family and encounters all the new animals at Town and Country Veterinary Hospital. She has had a passion for animals since she was a little girl. Her family has raised everything from dogs, horses, chickens, and cattle.

Taylor

Taylor was born and raised in Franklin County. Her children are her absolute world. She has a pit bull named Mayhem and a leopard gecko named Goat. She likes to spend most of her free time with family and friends. She loves spending time outdoors and shooting pool. From a young age she always loved animals from dogs, to reptiles, to horses. She knew she wanted to be able to help animals when she grew up. And now she is fulfilling that by working at Town and Country Veterinary Hospital.

Marissa

Marissa was born and raised in Franklin County on her grandparent’s horse farm. From a young age she has wanted to help any animal she’s come across. Since working at town and country she has found her passion in being in the middle of everything. In her free time you can find her outside playing with her dogs, riding horses or any other outdoor activity.

Sierra

Sierra was born and raised in upstate New York. She moved down here with her family two years ago and is thrilled to call Winchester home. Though she loves working with small animals, horses have held a special place in Sierra’s heart ever since she was little. She has always spent her summers out in Montana working with horses and leading trail strings through the mountains. Sierra has recently been accepted to UTK’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Once out of veterinary school, she hopes to treat animals both big and small and desires make a positive difference in her community.

Kristin

Kristin was born and raised in middle Tennessee and currently lives in Murfreesboro. She currently has a 12.5-year-old mixed breed dog who is her whole world named Mia and a 1.5-year-old crazy kitten named Dobby. Kristin has always had a love for animals and has worked with them in many aspects since 2010. Kristin has been with Town and Country as the practice manager since August 2023. In her free time, you can find her snuggled up with her pets reading or when the weather is nice you can find her on her kayak on the lake.

Madasyn

Madasyn was born and raised in coffee county. She has multiple chickens, cats, and loves spending her free time in the woods. She is currently enrolled in the Penn Foster program to become a Licensed Veterinary technician. Her passion for animals started from a young age. Since being employed here at town and country her passion and her drive to help as many animals as she can has blossomed. She’s looking forward to being here to love and care for your pets for years to come.
