Dr. Elise Prince was born in Knoxville, TN, but moved to Livermore, CO at 12 years old after her parents bought a dude/guest ranch. She worked on her family’s ranch through college. She went to college at Queens University of Charlotte in North Carolina, where she played college basketball and earned a nursing degree and worked as an emergency room registered nurse.
After a few years of nursing she realized that she wasn’t fulfilled, so she took the needed prerequisites and was accepted to Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in Starkville, MS. (HAIL STATE!) After graduating in May 2015, Dr. Elise Prince joined her uncle, Dr. Harry Prince, at Town and Country Veterinary Hospital. She has an interest in small animal internal medicine, surgery, and reproduction. Dr. Elise Prince’s hobbies include working on her new farm, working with horses, and outdoor activities with her two black Labrador dogs, Derby and Belmont.
